In this course you'll watch as we start the preparation paint layers. Yes, the layering process begins even before we actually paint the picture.

We will apply our ground which is the base layer of paint. On top of this base layer is where you will paint your canvas.

I'll also demonstrate how to use store bought canvases that already have a base layer on them because those layers are usually not very good and do not help you paint your picture. In fact they may be a leading cause of some of your frustration when you paint your picture.
